Sun damage, uneven tone, rough texture, and enlarged pores rarely show up alone, so treating them one at a time can feel like a never-ending project. Halo Tribrid by Sciton is the first laser to combine three wavelengths in a single treatment, resurfacing the surface, clearing pigment, and rebuilding collagen deeper in the skin all at once. You get the kind of results that once required aggressive lasers and weeks of recovery, with about a week of social downtime instead.

Halo Tribrid is a hybrid fractional laser made by Sciton. Where most lasers rely on a single wavelength, Halo Tribrid combines three, each with its own job:
Because the laser is fractional, it treats thousands of microscopic columns of skin while leaving the skin around them intact, which is why you heal faster than with traditional resurfacing. Halo also reads your skin's temperature in real time and adjusts its energy as it moves, so the treatment is even and consistent from start to finish.
Halo Tribrid can treat the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands.
Laser resurfacing has traditionally meant choosing between two extremes. CO2 lasers deliver dramatic results but require weeks of healing, while gentler non-ablative lasers have less downtime but usually take a series of treatments. Halo Tribrid sits in the middle. By pairing surface resurfacing with two non-ablative wavelengths, it addresses pigment, texture, and collagen in one session, and many patients see comprehensive improvement after a single treatment with about a week of recovery.
Every laser treatment at Esthetics Center begins with a consultation with a skilled nurse to discuss your goals, review your medical history, and take before and after photos to track your progress. On treatment day, your skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied and given time to take full effect, which is why we schedule about an hour and a half for your appointment. The laser itself takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes for the full face, and we finish with a soothing balm to protect your skin as it heals.
With numbing cream in place, most patients describe Halo as a warm, prickly sensation that is very manageable. The heat fades within a few hours, and a cool compress helps in the meantime. Settings can be adjusted to your comfort throughout the treatment.
For the first day or two, expect redness, mild swelling, and warmth similar to a sunburn. Over the next several days your skin will feel like sandpaper and take on a bronzed look as tiny treated areas rise to the surface, then flake away to reveal fresh skin underneath. Most patients are back to makeup and social plans in about five to seven days. Keep your skin moisturized, follow your aftercare instructions closely, and protect it with a broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 every day.
You'll notice a visible glow as soon as the flaking stops, usually about a week after treatment. Results continue to improve over the next three months as your skin builds new collagen. Many patients achieve their goals in a single treatment, while deeper sun damage or scarring may benefit from two or three treatments spaced several weeks apart.
Halo Tribrid is ideal for patients with sun damage, uneven tone, rough texture, or enlarged pores who want noticeable results without the long recovery of a CO2 laser. It works best on lighter to medium skin tones. We ask that you avoid tanning, including self-tanner, for at least two weeks before treatment. For deeper skin tones or patients who can't take a week of downtime, Moxi is a gentler option. As a general practice, we do not perform medical esthetic treatments on pregnant women.
The damage Halo clears is gone for good, but the sun keeps working. With daily sun protection and a consistent skincare routine, results can last for years. We recommend an annual Halo treatment, or Moxi between visits, to keep your skin looking its best.
