OVERVIEW

With a quick and easy procedure comes a relatively quick and easy “recovery” in the case of Botox and Dysport. The main things to keep in mind are to be extra gentle to your face, and to be patient with the healing process and showing of results.

Get Facial Beauty Treatments
Do not have any beauty treatments on your face such as; facials and facial massage for 1 week.

Do not consume alcohol for at least the next 24 hours.

Exercise heavy
Do not exercise or partake in any strenuous activity, or heavy exercise for the next 24-48 hours.

Do not sleep on your face the first 2 nights.

Rub treated Area
Do not rub or massage the treated area.

DO NOT
take aspirin
Avoid aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, or supplements which may thin your blood (i.e. vitamin e, fish oil, St. John’s Wort, etc.) for 7 days before and after treatment. These agents may increase the risk of bruising and bleeding. Tylenol is ok.

Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, excessive redness at the site, excessive swelling, excessive tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart.
