OVERVIEW

Recovery is usually quick and straightforward. Ultimately, the permavnent, new dimples are created by the scar tissue that develops as these small incisions heal.

5 to 7 days post-surgery, eat a soft diet, take small bites with no wide mouth movements and properly hydrate.

Sleep Elevated
Sleep on your back elevated for 2 weeks, at a 30° incline, with approximately 3 pillows.
Use Cold compress made of Frozen Peas
For the first 48 hours, use cold compresses made of frozen peas to minimize swelling and help with discomfort.

Stay hydrated and eat a healthy well balanced diet.

Do not perform strenuous physical activity, including athletic activities, intercourse, aerobic exercise, weight training, heavy lifting, and any straining. You may gradually resume exercise 4 weeks after surgery; light walking is okay and recommended. Listen to your body; if it hurts the treated area- Stop.
