After day 10, you'll need to use sunscreen, particularly one that's formulated for the new sensitive skin. No exceptions, every day!
Moisturize with Eucerin
Start using Eucerin moisturizing cream on day 7- 12 post-surgery in place of Aquaphor. Discuss with our team if you are unsure of when to transition to Eucerin.

Us Gentle Cleanser
Use gentle cleanser as discussed with your provider.
Apply Aquaphor
Apply a liberal amount of Aquaphor ointment, as often as needed, to keep coated at ALL times. Reapply after each soaking treatment. Do this for the next 7 to 12 days.
Soak Area with Vinegar
Soak the treated areas minimum of 5 times a day with diluted white vinegar solution; 1⁄4 cup vinegar, to 5 cups water in a large glass or metal bowl filled with ice. Soak clean thin cloths in the mixture and then apply to all treated areas.

Do not perform strenuous physical activity, including athletic activities, intercourse, aerobic exercise, weight training, heavy lifting, and any straining. You may gradually resume exercise 4 weeks after surgery; light walking is okay and recommended. Listen to your body; if it hurts the treated area- Stop.
