WHAT IS BELLAFILL?

We are proud to introduce one of the best and most revolutionary products that we now utilize for long-lasting and effective results--Bellafill. Bellafill utilizes a unique combination of bovine collagen and a highly specialized polymethyl implant to lift and fill scars, lines, and wrinkles. Not only does Bellafill last longer than any other filler, it is has one of the highest patient satisfaction rates at 90%.

Contained within its smooth collagen gel base are polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres that react and start working within your body the moment they are injected. Rather than a temporary filler, Bellafill works with your body to stimulate your own collagen production to ensure that your results can stand the test of time. Many of our patients have asked, "is Bellafill safe?"As an FDA-approved injectable, Bellafill is not only a proven method to repair deep acne scars and wrinkles, but a safe one, as well.

Contrary to other fillers and collagen injection procedures, once full correction is achieved, the effects of Bellafill do not fade and require repeated injections to ensure that the results are able to hold. Because Bellafill works and aids in your body’s own collagen production, the treatment is, in a way, self-sustaining so as to provide you with noticeable, satisfying results for many years to come.

WHAT DOES THE BELLAFILL PROCEDURE ENTAIL?

Bellafill filler injections are conducted on an outpatient basis, so formal surgery and anesthesia is not required. Patients are safe and free to return home within the same day that they receive injections.

Prior to the procedure your doctor will determine the amount of Bellafill that is appropriate for your scar(s) and/or wrinkle(s). After the appropriate dosage is determined and all other factors are accounted for, your certified nurse or doctor will apply a local anesthetic before conducting the procedure by injecting the pre-determined amount of Bellafill into the treatment area.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD?

Bellafill aftercare is simple and easy, requiring icing and rest from exercise for just 24-48 hours after the procedure. Once your procedure is finished, after scheduling a follow-up appointment with your doctor, you are safe to return home, and are free to return to work the following day. Side effects of the procedure are typically very short-lasting and are resolved within one week. As stated by Bellafill, in a five-year post-approval study on wrinkle reduction that included 1,008 patients, the “long-term safety of Bellafill for up to 5 years has been established.”

BELLAFILL RESULTS:

Bellafill begins working with your skin immediately, meaning that the results are immediate as well. The moment the injections are performed, the treatment site is filled and increased in volume to provide a smooth and even surface with the rest of your skin. As previously mentioned, because Bellafill’s bovine collagen and PMMA microspheres react with your body’s natural collagen production there are sustained results as your body begins to produce its own collagen at the treatment site, ensuring that the texture and volume is long-lasting.
